Well, the election is around the corner. So much information is coming at us. The debates have been unbelievable. Both candidates history, character and ethics are in question. So what do you do? How do you decide?

I choose to look at Platforms, not People. I look at the magnitude of our decision and how it will effect our next generation. There is so much at stake. The Supreme Court Justices, religious rights and freedom along with the moral decline. These things are so very important.

1 Timothy 2:2 tells us to pray for those in authority so we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. Awesome, isn't it? Yet again, we can always get our answers from God's Word. It is our platform for making decisions.

The Republicans and the Democrats have platforms. A Platform is that upon which you stand. It is your belief and that which you agree with and attach yourself to. Bro Kenneth Copeland said, "whoever you vote for, you attach yourself to that platform. You are an accomplice. Also, you will be a partaker of the judgement of that platform. "

I want the platform for whoever I vote for to have principles that align with God's Word.

Look at each candidate's platform. They are vastly different from each other.

One platform wants abortions to keep going, while the other believes that life starts in the womb and should be protected.

One platform believe marriage is between one man and one woman. While the other platform, wants to advance the homosexual agenda.

The Bible speaks clear to both of these issues. So I must align myself with Biblical principles and the platform that is closest to them.

I want my vote to count toward the next generation. I want my vote to be aligned with God's Word and plan in the earth.

I encourage you, don't look at people. Look at the Platform they're standing on. Compare it to the Word of God. For me, my voting decision is easy.
